I aim to create a conversation around animals both past and present and their relationship with humans. Whether that’s animals from our past put in today’s landscapes, or animals from our present on their way to becoming those of our past through our actions.

Bio

Emily is a fine artist from Houston, Texas. Her work explores our relationship with animals past and present and her appreciation for scientific illustration and biology. Inspired by the likes of Walton Ford and Audubon, she explores different mediums to tell the animals story and relay her fascination with the biology of her subjects with the viewer. Working to reignite the child-like fascination she experienced at a young age learning about the world around us.
Shes a BFA graduate from Texas A&M Corpus Christi
